Privacy policy

We make no attempt to identify individual visitors to the T.E. Lawrence Studies websites. The Flag Counter on the home page records which countries visitors come from, in cases where the host computer a visitor is using provides that information. It sets cookies to avoid counting repeat visitors as new visitors. Many sites and blogs use Flag Counter, and many visitors find its summary interesting.

Likewise, some pages in this site use Google Analytics. This enables us to see what interests visitors, and hence to prioritise areas of the site for future development. Google Analytics, like Flag Counter, needs to set cookies in order to work properly.

You can easily delete these (or any other) cookies from your computer.

Advertising

  • The operating cost of all three sites is entirely funded by Castle Hill Press, which is owned by Jeremy and Nicole Wilson.

  • Apart from a small amount of promotion for Castle Hill Press publications on telawrence.info the sites have no commercial content.

We try to indicate where you can obtain prints of these photographs and permission for reproduction.

We do not under any circumstances give permission for thumbnails or other illustrations that appear on this site to be reproduced elsewhere.

Contact

We welcome and, to the extent that we have time, will try to answer serious questions about T. E. Lawrence.

We may post in-coming questions on the moderated T.E.Lawrence Studies discussion list, or forward them to a particular person who is likely to know the answer. In either case you might receive an answer from a third party.

Because our time is limited, please make sure that the answer to your question is not already available in the telawrence.info FAQ section, the chronology, or elsewhere on the sites. Try the site search-engines.

When a similar question is asked by a number of people we sometimes post the answer in the telawrence.info FAQ section
