24 Hour Museum lists most Museums in the England, giving access times, charges, etc, and also links to the museum's own website if there is one. The website can be searched by region or for a named museum.

The National Trust, a charity, owns and administers many buildings, gardens, and parks of historic interest in England Wales, and Northern Ireland, including T. E. Lawrence's Cottage Clouds Hill. The Trust website can be searched by property or by region. There is a sister organisation in Scotland.

English Heritage administers many buildings and sites of historic interest that are owned by the state. These are listed on their website.
