If you intend to publish in the US and wish to obtain permission to quote from the subscribers' abridgement of Seven Pillars of Wisdom (1926, 1935 etc.) you should contact the Permissions Dept at Doubleday (RandomHouse). This does not apply to quotations from the Complete 1922 Text of Seven Pillars of Wisdom (1997, 2003, 2004), for which you should apply to the Seven Pillars of Wisdom Trust, as below.
