4. On Saturday 3 May 2003 at 10 a.m. there was a short broadcast about Lawrence across the US on NPR.

Turner Classic Movies in the US broadcast films starring Peter O'Toole, including Lawrence of Arabia.

On 22 October 2003 there was a prime-time PBS broadcast across the US of a two-hour Lion TV drama-documentary, Lawrence of Arabia, the Battle for the Arab World.

The Lion TV drama-documentary Lawrence of Arabia, the Battle for the Arab World was broadcast in the UK by BBC 2 in two 50-minute parts, on Saturday 6 and 13 December.

The press reported the death of Dr John Mack in a road accident in north London. He had spent the previous weekend in Oxford where he had been a key speaker at the T.E.Lawrence Society's Symposium.

9.

Opening of T.E.Lawrence, the life, the legend, at the Imperial War Museum, London, with a press release about the discovery of Lawrence's 1918 map proposing postwar frontiers in the Middle East.
